In 2024, I collaborated with colleagues and faculty on an article exploring pharmacological advancements across women’s reproductive health transitions, with particular attention to perinatal mental health. This work was informed by my clinical training at Women & Infants Hospital, where I gained experience working with the perinatal population and developed a deeper understanding of the mental health challenges that can emerge during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

The article highlights the introduction of a newly FDA-approved oral medication for postpartum depression and underscores the importance of timely, evidence-based treatment during this critical period. Contributing to this work reinforced my commitment to advancing thoughtful, informed psychiatric care for women and families across reproductive life stages.
